Jefferton Alive!!!

Pretty fun weekend.
Consisted of:
- Watching Tome Goes To the Mayor for the first time in ages (too many people overlook its hilarity and strangeness. Which is why this post is an homage to this greatly unappreciated show.
- Hot Damn
- The beach
- Being forced into sing-a-longs of songs such as "Time after time" and "Nothing compares".
- Getting to the annandale too late and missing the Miss Rock n Roll contest (which meant not seeing hot roller girls work it).
- Seeing Amity Affliction at Manning Bar, great show, but to my dismay they didn't play the Pat Benitar classic "love is a battlefield".
- Relaxed on sunday, slept in, laid around most of the day, went bowling with Joel, Tron, Brett, Stick and Brook only watched coz he's not good enough to play.
- Didn't get to see as much of my friends this weekend as I usually do, which sucks. Seriously have THE best times with that group of weird motherfuckers. So lucky to even know them.

Had another appointment with an eye nerve and muscle specialist yesterday. They still can't give me a definite diagnosis as to what caused the double vision and how to fix it.
So because they can't find any other explanation they are sticking to the migraine theory but to play it safe I have to get bloodwork done and see a neurologist.


Until then, I'll be getting a pair of glasses with one lens slightly at an angle which will change the angle my right eye sees at only when I'm looking down for reading.
So i'll be uber sexy/cool on the train when i'm reading and during my exams.

Whilst my weekend was heaps fun, aside from the Thursday night drama which is hopefully done with, it was kind of strange too.
I ran into a good friend who's been overseas since last August.
She went pretty much all over Asia for modelling.
Sweetest deal. Got to see and stay in all these amazing places not only for free but was getting paid.
Catching up with her and her family in my good old hometown of Mulgoa in the next few weeks.
I'll probably break something riding motorbikes with her brother.


I also did some things I didn't think I'd ever get to do again.
Not because they're bad or wrong, just didn't think they would ever happen again.
I enjoyed it though, even if I'm not sure it's the right thing.
I over think things too much sometimes.
Just need to chill.

Downloaded 3 new substitutes for msn on mac til i found one that ruled.
Coz the msn version is so fucking bad.
Tried Adium for a bit, has a cute duck icon thing so i gave it a shot. Was better but still pretty basic. Couldn't do video/audio chats either, so all the cute girls were devo.
Tried mercury as well, same same.
Finally got aMSN. Fucking rules. Video/audio chats, tabbed interface, plus heaps of other shit.
Woo.

She also has an uncanny resemblance to Joy.
Not just looks either, mannerisms and voice too.
